Kiwanis Club of Youngstown
Are you looking for ways to get to know people in your community? To connect with others—and get involved in projects that change lives? Then you’ve come to the right place. Kiwanis is all about making friends—and making an impact—in your local community. If so, the Kiwanis Club of Youngstown Welcomes You!
Chartered July 29, 1916, Kiwanis Club of Youngstown has met continuously at the Downtown YMCA for over 100 years.
Membership over the years and today includes local men and women who enjoy service and community involvement. Judges, legislators, professionals and business and service agency leaders, active retirees and community leaders and volunteers can all be found at Kiwanis meetings.
Speakers at our regular meetings keep members informed on cultural, political, business and social issues. We support the community through funds raised by our annual Kiwanis Radio Auction which is in its 63rd year. We also sponsor the K-Kids service leadership program at McGuffey Elementary School.
We believe in serving our community. Some of our service projects include weekly delivery of Meals on Wheels to the homebound members of our community. We spend 5 days staffing the kettle at Giant Eagle to help the Salvation Army reach their goal during the annual Red Kettle Campaign.
We helped provide a playground at a local school and we support the Success After Six Raspberry Pi program with the United Way of Youngstown and Mahoning valley.
We meet for lunch, a speaker and fellowship each Friday of the month at the Downtown YMCA, 17 N. Champion St. , Youngstown, OH at 12 noon.
We invite anyone interested in learning more about Kiwanis to be our guest. For more information call Jerry Osborne at 330-770-0003 or email email@example.com.

More about Kiwanis International
Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis International club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Kiwanis members stage nearly 150,000 service projects, devote more than 6 million hours of service and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects. Key Club members pitch in 12 million hours of service each year, and CKI members another 500,000 hours of service! Aktion Club members donate another 92,000 hours of service every year. Add it all up, and that’s more than 18 million hours of service every year!
