Serving our Community and Helping Kids Thrive!

  •  Are you looking for ways to get to know people in your community? To connect with others—and get involved in service projects that change lives? Then you’ve come to the right place. Kiwanis is all about making friends—and making an impact—in your local community. If so, the Kiwanis Club of Boardman-Youngstown welcomes You!
  • Our signature project is the Eisenbraun Books for Kids Grant providing a book a month during the school year to children in 1st - 5th grades at all Youngstown Public Schools. Students receive these books to keep and share with their families. 
  • We meet for lunch at 12 noon on the second and forth Fridays at the Eldon Beard Cabin in Boardman Park.

Local Service Projects

We deliver of Meals on Wheels to the homebound members of our community year-round.  

In December, we spend several days at Giant Eagle and Sam's Club helping the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. 

In April, we host an Easter Egg Hunt for Boardman Elementary School kids.

In May, we hold The Annual Boardman Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade. 
Fundraisers & Scholarships

 We are passionate about raising funds and donations to aid local children and families, while also offering support for higher education through scholarships provided to graduates  and Key Club Members of Boardman High School.

Our signature project, the Eisenbraun Books For Kids Program provides books to students in all our elementary schools. Our annual grants and scholarships total over $20,000 annually.





Community

We are active in our communities, attending the Boy Scouts Annual Dinners, YMCA Prayer Breakfasts, volunteering at Music in Boardman Park, supporting local organizations serving kids, and other events.
