City of Boardman Memorial Day Celebration and Parade

Service to the Community 

Kiwanians help participants find their parade location prior to the Boardman Memorial Day Parade and Celebration. Students from local schools march in bands playing patriotic songe.  Members of the Key Club, a service leadership program sponsored by our club, assist in this event.

“The parade and memorial service (At the Outdoor Arts Theater in Boardman Park) honor those who have served, are serving, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while in military service to our country,” Second generation Kiwanian Mark Luke chairs this wonderful event.

Parade

The 119th Memorial Day Parade hosted by Boardman Kiwanis Club will began at 10:00am on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Boardman Center Intermediate School on Market Street and  proceeded north to US Route 224, then head east to Boardman Township Park. Cheering crowds lined the route. This annual event is organized by our Kiwanis Club.
